The SSP6 Multiducer™ is a compact inertial transducer built around Distributed Mode Loudspeaker (DML) technology. Instead of using a conventional speaker cone, it excites a suitable rigid surface, allowing walls, ceilings, panels, windows and other surfaces to radiate full-range audio. Its compact design supports discreet installation using the RevLoc™ mounting plate, which is fixed to the surface before the SSP6 is attached. The unit supports 8Ω operation as well as 70V/100V systems, handles up to 200W instantaneous peak power, and carries an IP66 rating for protection against dust and water.
The SSP6 Multiducer™ does not have built-in software or onboard network control. It functions as the audio transducer within a larger sound system and can be paired with compatible amplification and DSP equipment. For applications such as sound masking, Revolution Acoustics specifically describes pairing the SSP6 with its RevNet™ 2140 amplifier, which includes a configurable sound-masking generator. This means the SSP6 itself remains focused on sound reproduction, while system processing, amplification and control are handled by the associated audio infrastructure
